Japan Airlines Upgrade with miles gives eligible JAL Mileage Bank members an opportunity to enjoy a higher cabin class on qualifying international flights. Depending on the original ticket and route, passengers may be able to upgrade from Economy to Premium Economy or Business Class, or from Business Class to First Class. Travelers should check their booking class, mileage balance, and upgrade seat availability before applying. Not all tickets qualify, and upgrade awards are subject to specific terms and conditions.
